Importing your iApotheca history into NarcCount
Moving off iApotheca? Bring your last finalized count, plus purchases, dispensing and destructions since it, so your first reconciliation is complete.
Moving from iApotheca, or another narcotic-reconciliation tool? You don't have to start from zero — NarcCount can pick up exactly where you left off.
What to bring over
- Your most recent finalized count — this becomes the opening baseline for each drug.
- Purchases, dispensing, and destructions since that count, so the first reconciliation in NarcCount is complete.
How to import
- Export each record type from your old tool (or straight from your dispensing software and wholesaler) as CSV.
- Use the import panels — Purchases, Dispensing, and Destructions each accept a CSV of Date, DIN, and Quantity.
- Enter your latest physical count as a new count (or upload it from a spreadsheet) and finalize it — that sets the baseline going forward.
From then on
Once the baseline and back-history are in, every future count reconciles automatically: Expected = Last Count + Purchased − Dispensed − Destroyed. Keep importing CSVs, or connect your dispensing software so records flow in without manual exports.
